Paw Neighbors Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Scope

This policy describes data handling in Paw Neighbors (이웃집 동물들). No account or personal profile is required to play. If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you send.

2. Data on your device

Progress, unfinished puzzle placements, daily puzzle records, key and hint balances, and language, audio, haptic and reminder settings are stored on your device. The game does not provide account-based cloud saves or cross-device synchronization.

3. Usage analytics (Firebase)

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand usage and improve puzzle difficulty. Firebase sends Google an automatically generated per-installation app instance identifier, app, device and operating-system information, an approximate location derived from the IP address, and aggregate events such as screen views, stage start, completion, suspend and resume, hints, mistakes, tutorial steps, and rewarded-ad requests and results.

Detailed animal placements, free-form input, names and email addresses are not sent. Advertising identifier collection and ad-personalization settings are disabled in Firebase. The game does not request precise location access. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics events are sent only if you consent to storing information on your device in the first-launch consent message, and changing that choice under “Ad privacy settings” is honored. Development or verification builds configured to disable analytics do not send events.

The app does not send gameplay records to any server operated by the developer, and the developer does not store app users’ personal information on its own servers.

4. Advertising

The game includes Google AdMob interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses and inferred approximate location, ad views and clicks, app interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or app-related identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The applicable data depends on platform, SDK version, permissions and configuration.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland a consent message is shown on first launch and ads follow the choices you make; you can revisit them under “Ad privacy settings” in the app’s Settings. On iOS the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission, and personalized ads using the advertising identifier (IDFA) are served only if you allow tracking. Without consent or tracking permission only non-personalized ads are requested.

Firebase analytics and the advertising SDK are separate processing. A build using test ads is not a guarantee that the advertising SDK processes no data. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Reminders and haptics

Daily puzzle reminders are scheduled locally after you enable them and grant the required device permission. The current implementation does not obtain remote push tokens or register with a remote push service. Disabling reminders cancels their schedule. Haptics use device functionality; vibration events are not separately uploaded as personal information.

6. Providers and processing locations

We use Google Analytics for Firebase for usage analytics, and Google AdMob with the Google UMP SDK for advertising and consent management. These providers may process data outside your country through their infrastructure. Support correspondence is handled through an email provider. See Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google’s Privacy Policy.

All transmissions are encrypted with HTTPS.

7. Retention and deletion

Retention of Firebase analytics and advertising data follows Google’s settings and policies. The developer does not keep app users’ records in a form that can be looked up or deleted per person. Test-period records that versions 1.0.2 and earlier sent to the developer’s server are all deleted automatically by the end of December 2026. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and follow-up.

Send privacy questions and requests to sidus.network+support@gmail.com. Do not send passwords or identity documents.

Settings → Reset progress resets gameplay progress on the device; it does not delete analytics already transmitted. Operating-system app-data deletion or app removal can remove local data. Uninstalling stops new records under that installation’s identifier, while records already transmitted follow each provider’s retention. Restoring an operating-system backup may restore some data.

8. Intended audience and guardian requests

This game is intended for users aged 14 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14, and the game has no personal-profile form asking for names or birth dates.

If you learn that a child under 14 has used the game, parents or guardians can contact us or request deletion using the contact details below.

9. Updates and contact

When data practices change, we update this page and its revision or effective date.
